BoeFly Brews New Franchise Credit Index
How’s your health? If you’re a franchise, you’ll soon be able to check your ability-to-access-capital pulse with a new index.
Indeed, BoeFly, a company that has been serving as an online matchmaker for banks to source small business borrowers for some two years now, is readying an index whose data will help indicate the demand and volume for franchise small business lending.
“The No. 1 issue for franchises today is access to credit,” David Nayor, co-president and COO of BoeFly, tells Bank Innovation.
The Index, which will emerge next week, is possible because of BoeFly’s strategic alliance with the International Franchise Association. The partners will provide a monthly state of the union of sorts for franchise businesses’ ability to access credit, plus a look at how credit breaks down by industry.
“We [are] excited to delve into specific industries within franchises like restaurants,” Nayor says.
BoeFly provides its services to more than 100 brands, including Dunkin’ Donuts, Carl’s Jr. and Express Personnel.
