Atlanta Fed President Lockhart: Economy on Better Footing at Dawn of 2014
The United States is on firmer economic ground at the beginning of 2014 than it was on a year ago, Atlanta Fed President Dennis Lockhart said during a recent speech. Financial Update notes that Lockhart doesn’t expect changes in basic policy direction once Janet Yellen is inaugurated as Fed chair next month.
