On the New Interactions in Payments panel, Richardson will be addressing the role that voice, text and image play in today’s landscape of digital payments.
Based in Providence, R.I., Citizens Bank is a retail and commercial bank focused on the New England and Midwest regions of the country with $158.6 billion in assets, according to its website. This year, the bank plans go live with realtime payments, with the first phase starting by end of the first quarter, Bank Innovation has learned. Richardson is at the forefront of this initiative.
At BI Ignite, Richardson will not only speak on this subject, but will also address topics such as making sense of crisscrossing partnerships and solutions and how to achieve true channel-agnostic payments, among other things.
BI Ignite will also feature startup demos as well as sessions on data-sharing in the era of open banking, natural language banking, wealth management in the AI age, and much more. Attendees will also have the chance to seek advice and insights from fintech experts at the Innovation Bar.
Richardson will be joined by speakers from BBVA Compass, Fifth Third, Green Dot, Wells Fargo, HSBC, Umpqua Bank and more at the event.
