Banno, the Cedar Falls, Iowa, banking technology company, today will unveil Kernel, a marketing application that “helps financial institutions deliver relevant content and enhance lead generation.”
According to the company, Kernel “adjusts advertisement delivery between mobile, online banking, and other experiences based on users’ interest and interaction with each channel. As a result, banks and credit unions can cultivate stronger leads and actionable opportunities for their products and services.”
The company will demo the application today at Finovate in San Francisco.
Kernel, it seems, is an advertising delivery system that serves up ads on its banking platform based on performance metrics, such as click-through rates. The company says the delivery system gives FIs the “actionable insights to further engage customers,” which is marketing-speak for more sales. Count Kernel among the growing list of technologies aimed at making greater sense of large pools of data.
