On November 10th 2010 I launched the German Bank-Blog about current and fundamental issues and developments in the banking and financial services sector. While google-stats indicates a strong and solid growth of page-impressions and unique users, it is much to early to have any kind of résumé.
But recently there came up the smava competition “Fiance Blog of the Year 2011”. Smava is an innovative German provider of a C2C-platform for direct loans and investments. And my blog is not only nominated by its readers as “Finance blog of the Year 2011” but also selected by a jury as one of 15 blogs in the final round (out of initially 55).
Apparently, the bank-blog has quickly reached for its readership, which regardless of the outcome of the contest makes me a little bit proud.
Although I could not imagine to have any chance in the finals against long-established blog, my ambition as a sportsman is “on” and I like to go for a good performance in the final round.
All readers and friends of the blog can give their votes until March 7th for the “German Finance blog of the year 2011”

I appreciate everyone who is going to support me. Thank you all in advance.
In any case, you should have a look into my blog. A google-translation-service is integrated to make German a little bit more understandable.
