Bank of America Corp. will reportedly release a new suite of mobile applications available to “all consumers” within “the next few weeks.”
News of the new mobile applications came via Twitter this morning.
Bank of America released its iPhone and iPad mobile apps in 2007, and has since committed to an update in “early 2011,” as per a posting in the Apple app store. That update appears to have been scheduled.
Some consumers complain about Bank of America’s current app, and have been pressing the bank for an upgrade.
Bank of America’s news comes as Citibank released a minor upgrade of its mobile applications today to adjust an operating system compatibility issue.
