LearnVest, the popular personal financial management app, was introduced just yesterday yet it catapulted to the sixth most downloaded iPhone app in the nation.
The the top three most-downloaded apps — from PayPal, Bank of America, and Chase Mobile — held their positions this week. To get a sense of the user numbers behind these rankings, In recent earnings reports, Bank of America announced 11.1 million active users of its app, while Chase counted 9.8 million, 36% growth in users over last year.

LearnVest and QuoteSonic Insurance, an app for getting the best auto-insurance rates, are newcomers to the Top 10. PFM app iSpending, a periodic visitor to the Top 20, retuned this week to land at No, 18. Winging its way to No. 14 is Bluebird, jointly offered by Walmart and American Express.
Other than Bluebird, the 11th to 20th ranked apps all dropped from one to three spots in order to make room for newcomers.
Bluebird will likely fly to even greater heights in these rankings. Its companion prepaid card is now available in Walmarts everywhere, in special display cases by the entrance.
BB&T Mobile Banking, SunTrust Mobile, and Pageonce all left the Top 20 this week.
