Consumers don’t need cupid’s encouragement to make them fall for their banks. Rather, they require security.
Indeed, Americans rank security as the number one quality they love in a bank, finds a survey released by Ally Bank. In fact, 24% respondents ranked security as a bank’s best trait, closely chased with 22% of respondents declaring 24/7 live service as the No. 1 way for banks to earn their affections.
The survey, which was conducted in early December 2010 and polled about 1,000 adults, also discovered two interesting banking affection facts:
- Americans 45+ declare security as the most important bank trait, while those falling into the 35-to-44-years-old age bracket chose customer service as their top pick; and
- Those making more than $100,000 per year love competitive interest rates most, while those making $35,000 or less rank 24/7 service as most important.
The survey compliments Ally Bank’s “Love Your Bank” campaign.
