LendingClub Goes Begging for Borrowers
LendingClub is offering to pay its members who refer people to the site. The online peer-to-peer lending platform will pay $50 for each “approved borrower” a member invites. The invitee gets a $25 “welcome bonus.” Here is the link for setting up an invitation effort.
LendingClub’s traffic peaked in June at 144,000 unique visitors, according to Compete. Last month, 124,000 visitors came to LendingClub.com, which competes with Prosper, among other P2P sites.
