RiskMetrics is reportedly on the block.
Integrity Research is reporting that the three private equity firms which own RiskMetrics is attempting to sell the company. General Atlantic, Spectrum Equity and Technology Crossover Ventures own 46% of the stock of RiskMetrics and have invested about $120 million into the firm since 2004.
