The KBW Bank Index topped 50 this week for the first time since the fall of 2008 — and the index continues to nudge higher today. The index of banks is trading 0.08% higher at 11:07 a.m. ET today at 50.96. Arguably, this week was one of the best for stocks since before the credit crisis.
The Dow Jones US Financial Services Index has also rallied substantially this week.
