In discussions with financial institutions I’m amazed that business managers and even more amazed that the security people at these organizations wants to offer text based mobile services for their NEW offers.
Not only being less secure, having terrible user interface and being costly, these solutions are less flexible and have other dependencies that the services offered to end users shouldn’t have.
MFS 2.0 (mobile payment and mobile banking) should be:
– Highest secure
– Easy to use
– Independant (any mobile, any network, any carrier, any sub type)
– Flexible, easy to add/change services
– Fast
– Cost effective and easy/fast to implement (for all parties, issuers, merchants, users)
There is solutions (like ours) out there and soon we will see attractive new mobile banking and mobile payment services live..and get the customer adoption that we all believe will come (only time differs when interviewing players in the market).
