It’s finally official — Bank of America Corp. has released an app for Windows Phone 7.
According to reports, the new app’s features cover the banking basics, including: pay bills and transfer funds, review account balances, and find ATM and banking center locations using GPS, with no address input required.
BofA also introduced an app for Apple’s iPad today.
A BofA spokesperson said the app rollouts center on helping customers’ banking experiences become more efficient and quicker.
Bank Innovation’s JJ Hornblass first reported on BofA readying release of new mobile apps in April.
The launches point to BofA’s leadership in offering apps for a variety of phones.
Separately, Bank Innovation member Denis Vacher also alerted our community that BofA has been conducting mobile banking deposit trials.
