Another One (Industry Conference, I Mean) Bites the Dust
Citing the “challenging economic environment,” O’Reilly Media Inc. has canceled its well-received Money:Tech 2009.
The conference, which was to address the cutting-edge technologies of banking and Wall Street, had been scheduled to take place this week. I attended the inaugural Money:Tech last year and was slated to be in the audience again this year.
The event is essentially the brainchild of Paul Kedrosky of the Infectious Greed blog. While Kedrosky writes about, well, many different topics, he has yet to publish a word on the cancellation.
