PayPal regained its spot as the most downloaded iPhone app this week, dethroning Bank of America, which dropped to the No. 2 spot.
BB&T Mobile Banking is a newcomer to the Top 20, entering the rankings at No. 13. The app currently enjoys high ratings and positive comments in the App Store.

PayPal resumes its familiar spot atop the rankings this week. The app was updated yesterday, the same day eBay Inc. released its earnings report, which highlighted great numbers for PayPal. Most significantly, eBay expects to process more than $10 billion in payments through the app during 2012.
Lemon Wallet, iCard Keeper, BMO Harris Mobile, and Quicken Money Management dropped out of the Top 20 this week. SunTrust Mobile, BB&T Mobile Banking, and Pageonce are all newcomers to the Top 20. SunTrust is an Atlanta, Ga.-based bank. BB&T Corp. is based in Winston-Salem, N. C. Pageonce is a prominent personal finance management app with headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif.
Fidelity Investments and Citi Mobile were the biggest climbers this week. No significant drops occurred within the Top 20.
