People Trust Community Federal Credit Union is using technology provider Treasury Prime for embedded banking services.
With Treasury Prime, the North Little Rock, Ark.-based credit union aims to diversify revenue and grow its deposit with a national reach, Treasury Prime Chief Banking Officer Jeff Nowicki told Bank Automation News.

Treasury Prime integrates directly into the bank’s tech stack, Nowicki said.
“Into their core, into their payment gateways,” he said.
Treasury Prime, founded in 2017, also provides embedded banking services to digital Grasshopper Bank. The tech provider has raised $71.5 million, according to Crunchbase.
First Source FCU improves member engagement with Appli
New York-based First Source Federal Credit Union has improved its member engagement and client conversions since implementing Appli’s AI-powered financial calculators nearly a year ago, Norwicki said.
Appli’s calculators include:
- Mortgages and home equity loans;
- Auto loans;
- RV and motor home loans;
- Personal loans;
- Retirement forecasting;
- Share certificates;
- CDs; and
- Savings goals.
The credit union has noticed people are searching for terms including “mortgage calculator” and “home equity calculator,” according to a June 3 release.
“We’re seeing conversions happening in each monthly wrap-up report we pull,” Katie Ullman, vice president of marketing and community at First Source FCU, said in the release.
Th $1 billion credit union also reported increased search traffic and new entry points to its website since implementing Appli.
Because Appli has helped the credit union boost conversion rates, the credit union plans to expand its use of Appli “in the coming months,” according to the release.
Frontier Credit Union selects Lumin Digital as digital banking provider
Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Frontier Credit Union selected Lumin Digital as its digital banking provider.
“After noticing our previous platform’s limitations in keeping pace with the evolving digital landscape, we knew it was time for a change,” Matthew Rice, vice president of eServices at Frontier, said in a June 3 release.
Frontier is the latest credit union to tap Lumin, following $1.1 billion Kirtland Federal Credit Union and $384 million Fort Community Credit Union.
Edwards FCU boosts communications with Eltropy
AI-driven conversations platform Eltropy launched its Eltropy Office Phone in May, and Edwards Federal Credit Union is using the tech.
Built on the cloud, the phone offers internal voice communications for credit unions and community banks, according to a May 28 release.
The tool ensures connection, contact center integration, seamless transfers and intelligent call routing, according to the company.
“We’re delivering one seamless, cloud-native telephony purpose-built to power every conversation across the institution, from the back office to the contact center,” Eltropy CEO Ashish Garg said in the release.
Carter Pope, CEO at Palmdale, Calif.-based Edwards FCU, said: “We’re improving our financial and communications technology to help our employees first, so they can in turn help our members have a better banking experience.”
