Financial institutions continue to upgrade their mobile offerings as consumer expectations require self-service capabilities.
For example, Citizens Financial Group and Fifth Third Bank at the end of last year announced plans to launch new mobile apps amid rising digital usership.
The following federal credit unions, too, have switched mobile banking providers, according to an FI Navigator report provided to Bank Automation News.
Citizens Federal Credit Union
The $180 million Big Spring, Texas-based credit union selected CU Answers’ It’s Me 247 Online Banking, a mobile-first solution designed for use with any device, according to the company’s website.
It’s Me 247 has an updated design, improved user experience, faster access to balances, customizable accounts, a new profile menu, card management and activity notifications for credit union members, according to Citizens FCU’s website.
The credit union in December switched to CU Answers from Finastra Fusion Digital Banking, according to FI Navigator.
New Castle Bellco Federal Credit Union
The $11.6 million New Castle, Penn.-based credit union also switched last month to CU Answers’ It’s Me 247 from CU Mobile Apps, according to FI Navigator.
“The credit union has completed our computer conversion and our new online banking now is available on either the Android or Apple mobile banking app,” according to New Castle Bellco’s website.
Other credit unions that transitioned to CU Answers over the past year include $23.6 million Strategic FCU, $59.9 million Great Lakes FCU and $145 million Mission City FCU.
