Ian Eslick, chief technology officer for enterprise architecture and engineering at U.S. Bank, will headline the fireside chat at the Bank Automation Summit on Sept. 19 at 9:15 a.m. PDT, to discuss banking automation and the future of technology for financial institutions.

Eslick leads technology modernization initiatives at $587 billion U.S. Bank, including for enterprise engineering and platform foundations. At U.S. Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped lead a business process design to support Paycheck Protection Program loans “that scaled to tens of thousands of loans per week,” he said in a July 2021 blog post.
Eslick holds a doctorate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and founded MIT company Silicon Spice, which enabled carrier-grade long-distance Voice over Internet Protocol. He previously held a position at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he co-invented and helped build Honeycode, a no-code productivity computing platform.
